Learn to Row

Sign up for this option if you have never rowed before.  A "learn to Row" course is a requirement for any person who has never rowed before.  To ensure quality instruction, the number of participants is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.  The course consists of one dry-land orientations session and on-water sessions.  Once completed, the rower may continue and have unlimited rowing for the remainder of the season. 
Fee:  For those just wishing to attend the Learn to Row clinic the cost is $175.  If they then wish to continue for the season there is an additional fee of $200

Adult Recreation

Sign up for this option if you have previously held a membership with the Muskoka Rowing Club or another recognized rowing club, and have previously completed an instructional rowing course. 
A “Return to Row” program will be offered Monday evenings, 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm once the docks are in for those who wish to partake, as well as assistance given to those who are seeking a crew to row with. 

Fee: $350

Student Recreational

Any person under who is enrolled in a full-time course of study at the elementary, secondary or post-secondary level is eligible to row at this lower membership rate. It includes participation in a Learn to Row session and unlimited rowing for the season. 

Fee: $200

High School Student Seasonal

For students who row either just for the spring/fall high school season or just for the summer season (July/Aug). A good option for students who row for another club during the high school season but cottage in Muskoka. 

Fee: $125

Competitive Rower (Adult or Student)

A competitive upgrade fee is required for all competitive rowers, ie, anyone wishing to take part in a regatta. This fee includes additional Row Ontario and Rowing Canada fees, and is in addition to regular membership fees. 

 Fee: + $72 added to regular fee
